When I started blogging with intent, it became a sort of therapy. I was going through a really difficult time in my life and I just needed to talk. Not about anything in particular, just talk. Over the years, there have been times when I wrote more than others, but this blog continues to be a place where I can just talk things out to people who are supportive and just all-around awesome. Of course, I don't always talk about serious things around here. Sometimes this is just the place that I practice my entertainment reporting and talk endlessly about my love for music, YouTube and TV shows. It's finding that balance that really makes a blog click, but it's the people that really make it great. Thanks for showing up and being who you are. It's changed me!
Make sure that if you post, you link up! The party's more fun when we can see what everyone else is writing!
I'm totally with you on writing a personal blog being therapeutic. And blog followers and especially the commentors are like my cyber coffee klatch.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that completely!
DeleteMy blog didn't start out as therapeutic, but little did I know, it'd become that way. Thanks for adding me to the linky party. I am so impressed you got that working. Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt was much easier than I thought it would be. So glad you had this big idea!
DeleteI've tried to stop blogging because of this or that, but something always brings me back to it. I just need to write and to get it out there. I enjoy your blog very much!
