But the fun doesn't stop there...Crys after Once Upon A Mattress...
Sheena at Crystal's dorm after one of our visits...
At Patti's in 2002 maybe? (Help me out here, girls!)
At Lindsey's wedding reception dancing in the bathroom...
And toasting...
This is one of my favorite pictures of Sheena. We were having an in-house dance party!
And from a different great day, a favorite of Crystal...
We have been friends for what feels like a million years. I don't think we could have imagined when we met that we would all be friends more than 10 years later. (Or that Sheena and Crys would become sisters-in-law one day!) But I can honestly say that I can't imagine my life without them. We've laughed, we've cried, we've fought like sisters, and we have (thank goodness) mellowed over the years. But we have always done it together. I'm not done yet, because I also found some pictures of them with their gentleman callers...
First group date...
Home from their honeymoon...
At a friend's wedding reception...
More than seven years ago, at Favorite and Crystal's...
At a friend's reception...
At Precious' 30th Birthday Party...
I love their men almost as much as I love these women! I'm so proud to call you all friends! (Please forgive me for the no warning of the old pictures thing!) But I feel like I would be remiss if I didn't include a few pics of Amber too! So here are a few of my favs... this first one was taken one summer years ago...
At Brady's wedding...
We are quite the pair! We have a shorthand that only the other can understand. (which tends to confuse and amuse the rest of the world) If you can count even one good friend, you're lucky. I'm blessed.
So many great memories in those photos. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog yesterday. I love your "funny story" philosophy. I have a similar outlook - it's gotten me through many situations!
I love ALL those pictures. Your friends seem so quirky!
ReplyDeleteAw, I love seeing these photos. I have so many great memories from Once Upon A Mattress and other SCC days. I miss you all dearly! What a great group of women and gentlemen I got to know during my time there.
ReplyDelete@ Mindee - I love your blog! Thanks for coming to visit mine!
ReplyDelete@Rebecca - Quirky is one of the nicer things we've been called!
@Janna - I had such a good time looking through all of my old pictures for this post! We miss you too! We did have some great times at SCC, didn't we?
